How we build
Understand. Decide. Act.
The method Cyphaira uses to build decision-intelligence software, and why it is the same in every industry we enter.
A method, not a platform
Each company Cyphaira builds is its own company, with its own domain model, its own operators and its own customers. What repeats is not the machinery. It is how the product is built and what it is built to do: take the information a business already has, turn it into trusted intelligence, and connect that intelligence to a decision and an outcome. That is the whole method, and it fits in three words.
The intelligence loop
Inside the three words is an eight-step loop every product is designed around. Collect relevant information while preserving source identity, permissions and time. Connect entities, events, documents and history. Verify provenance, consistency, recency and confidence. Analyze patterns, causes, risks and alternatives. Synthesize a concise assessment of what is happening, why it matters and what remains uncertain. Recommend ranked courses of action with tradeoffs. Act through people, approvals and connected systems. Learn by capturing decisions, actions and outcomes.
The Intelligence Brief
The standard output of a Cyphaira product is not a dashboard and not a chat reply. It is a brief: a disciplined answer to a consequential decision question. A brief states the question; the executive assessment; the key judgments; the evidence behind each, with provenance; the level of confidence and why; the conflicts and unknowns; the outlook; the courses of action; the tradeoffs and expected effects; the authority boundary; the decision record; and the outcome review.
A brief is incomplete when it cannot say what we assess, what supports it, how confident we are, what conflicts remain, what management should consider, who has authority, and how the outcome will be judged.
Built by operators
The people who build each product are people who have done the work it serves, every day, for years. That is not a slogan about culture. It is how the domain model gets right: the entities, the stages, the failure modes, the numbers that matter and the ones that mislead are known before the first line of software is written. Cyphaira is run from the floor, not the boardroom.
Claim discipline
Every material claim Cyphaira makes, on this site or anywhere else, is labeled by what it is. Current means available and operational today. Verified means confirmed against a named source at a stated date. Planned means approved, designed or in development, not yet complete. Vision means a direction, not a commitment. Internal ambition may lead. External claims follow evidence.
One assistant on top of everything
Planned A single voice-first AI assistant is designed to sit on top of every product Cyphaira builds, the way one assistant can sit across a suite of office applications without those applications sharing a database. It is the method, spoken: Understand, Decide, Act, by voice.
